About the program

What exactly happens over the three months?

Weeks 1 through 8 include eight weekly two-hour private meetings. Month 3 includes two 45-minute check-ins. In total, the program includes ten live appointments and 17.5 live hours. After month 3 you keep lifetime membership in the Calm Authority Collective community for ongoing support and can schedule additional private meetings whenever you need them.

Is this a parenting course or private coaching?

Both. It is a sequenced parent program combined with private coaching and live family guidance, supported by original learning materials, a companion video series and lifetime membership in the Calm Authority Collective community. The video series supports the work you do at home. It does not replace your live appointments.

Are any of the private meetings prerecorded?

No. All eight weekly guidance meetings and both month-three check-ins are live. Separately, prerecorded instructional materials help adults review and apply ideas between appointments.

Why is understanding the reason behind behavior so important?

A response that looks like defiance, withdrawal, frustration or avoidance can have different contributing factors in different people. Together we explore patterns, unmet needs, communication, environment and practical supports, rather than assuming one strategy suits every situation. This process does not determine a clinical cause or diagnosis.

What if we are already doing well as a family?

You are welcome to inquire. Families also join to deepen connection, communicate more intentionally, establish shared routines and support the continued growth of both adults and young people.

Who it is for

Do you work with families navigating ADHD, autism, grief or trauma histories?

Families with these experiences are welcome to inquire. We adjust educational guidance and home practices with respect for individual differences, sensory and executive-function needs, grief and family circumstances. We do not treat or promise to resolve ADHD, autism, trauma or other health conditions, and coaching may be most helpful alongside appropriate licensed professional care.

Will you teach me to control my child's behavior?

No. No one can control another person's feelings or choices. We focus on what adults can influence: their own responses, boundaries, communication, consistency and the environments they create. We can support appropriate expectations and skill-building without treating young people as problems to fix.

What is expected of parents and caregivers?

Adults are expected to attend, learn, practice the tools, model the expectations they teach and follow through consistently. Young people should not be expected to carry the family's change process while the adults remain disengaged. Engagement does not guarantee a particular outcome, but it is essential to meaningful participation.

Does my child need to be enrolled at Quantum Montessori?

No. This is a separate sister-business experience. School enrollment is not required. Youth-facing activities, if appropriate, are complementary and do not replace the adults' core work.

Is this mental-health treatment?

No. This is educational family coaching, not clinical diagnosis, psychotherapy, psychiatric care or medical treatment. We encourage qualified professional support when a concern falls outside the scope of coaching.

Community and portal

What is the Calm Authority Collective?

It is our community of like-minded families who practice calm, structured, connected parenting. Your $3,500 program investment includes lifetime membership. It is a place to ask questions, share wins and learn from others.

What does “lifetime membership” mean?

You keep your place in the Calm Authority Collective community for as long as the community exists and you follow its guidelines. The Parent Portal, with the weekly video lessons and handouts, is included for the program year.

What is in the Parent Portal?

After you are accepted you receive a private login. Each week has a module with a video lesson, a written transcript and a printable handout. You also sign your agreements, complete a family intake and schedule meetings there.

Is the Calm Authority Collective part of Quantum Montessori?

No. Quantum Montessori is a separate company. The Intentional Family Experience and the Calm Authority Collective are a sister offering, and school enrollment is never required.

Enrollment and policies

Is enrollment open to anyone?

No. The experience is offered by application, paid consultation and acceptance. We accept up to six new families per intake, with intakes every other month. Paying for a consultation does not guarantee acceptance.

Do you guarantee that my child's behavior will change?

No. We provide education, guidance, individualized planning, materials and the scheduled support described in the agreement. We do not guarantee any particular behavioral, emotional, relationship or parenting outcome, or a specific rate of progress.

Is the consultation fee refundable?

The $295 consultation fee is nonrefundable for a completed consultation and is credited toward the program investment if you are accepted and enroll. The precise policy, including cancellation and rescheduling rights, will be shown before booking and must comply with applicable law.

Is the program investment refundable?

Our enrollment policy is that the full program investment is a nonrefundable commitment, subject to applicable law, contractual remedies and any legally required exceptions. The final agreement will set out the services, delivery commitments, schedule, cancellation terms and payment obligations before you enroll.

What if we only use some of the materials or stop early?

The experience is designed as a complete sequence with continuing guidance. Using resources selectively or leaving early may limit its usefulness. Enrollment is a commitment to the full program investment, and voluntarily leaving early does not automatically reduce the agreed cost, subject to applicable law and the signed contract.
